You can expect partly cloudy skies and mild conditions overnight. Low temperatures will be in the mid-50s.

Meteorologist Dave Dahl says showers and thunderstorms are expected to start early in the day Thursday, taper off, and then re-develop Thursday night. Highs will be around 80 degrees.

3,500 Local Hospital Workers Vote to Strike

About 3,500 members of the Service Employees International Union Healthcare Minnesota voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to strike. After two days of voting, 91 percent supported the strike option.

If the union calls a 2-5 day strike it would affect:

-Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina
-Fairview Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis

Eagan Residents Fight to Save City's Only Golf Course

Just a few years after a controversial housing development was finally approved on the Carriage Hills golf course in Eagan, the city's only other 18-hole course is now threatened. Golfers have been celebrating pars, birdies and lamenting bogies at Parkview Golf course in Eagan since 1969, but that 43-year run might be coming to an end.
